visualportfolio asked: I've found your music today. And I am simply amazed with the sound you're making. I don't have anything much to ask, I just wanted to say that you are simply amazing, and talented, and I adore your music simply. Keep on doin' :)
BTW. It's very inspirational for an artist and musician like I am too :)

Thank You.
I am not particularly good at this blogging thing, I post once every three months it seems. I am pretty sure that is bad (blogging) form.
Anyway the point of this post is to say thank you. Thank you to all who have been so supportive over the last 12 months. Thank you to all that came to shows and that have pushed my music out there into the world. I am eternally grateful to all and wish you a...

Buses
Its funny, I guess with me, i don’t post anything for ages, and then like buses, two come along at the same time.
Walter by Clem Leek
I just wanted to explain a piece that went out a while ago, but apart from people at my shows, noone really knows the story behind this. Walter is my late Grandfather, he died around the age of 50 so I never knew him. From what I hear about him, he...

Sunday Rain
Today i was listening to the rain looking out the window, and as rain is such a beautiful natural sound I ended up accompanying it at the piano. I had my little recorder with me so I took a little musical snapshot of some improvising i was doing.
The piano being my favourite instrument I decided to share it, so I hope you enjoy it.
Hope you are all enjoying your sundays!

Drone
I haven’t made a blog post in a while, so I thought, now that the snow has finally disappeared it was time for another topic.
I’d like to talk about what most people seem to refer as ‘Drone’ music. It seems to me that people find it hard to accept the idea of drone music. From wher I am sitting the fact is that concentrated listening is needed to really appreciate music in...

clusterpod-deactivated20100310 asked: Hi Clem, not a question, but fan mail.
I really like snow tales. U think #4 resonates best with me.
I am from Australia and have never seen snow, I'm not sure if your context is therefore lost on me, but the EP certainly is enjoyable and has had several listens.
Thanks very much.

Snow Tales EP
I have uploaded a free EP at clemleek.bandcamp.com. It was written and recorded in 2 days and is a very raw piece of work from my musical perspective. I have included 4 tracks and a remix in the EP. I have gained a lot of inspiration from the weather recently and having moved back to a rural areas from living in a city nature seems to have more of an effect on me. Never before have my surroundings...
This is very lovely :)
Fragile Music
My topic for today is something that I have been thinking about a lot recently. As I have started to write and record in the last couple of months using a wider range of techniques, recorded sounds, experimental instrumental vices and a range of different production techniques, I feel a new form of expression has taken over a little bit really. For my release in the summer I am trying to...
Fluid Radio

Movements & Musings
Just thought, for the first time, I would write a proper blog, so here it goes.
The Schedios launch went so well, the Porter Bar looked stunning, Anna Rose Carter and Theo Ellis gave great performances, I was really proud of everyone who got involved. The evening was such a success and it gives me great hope for Schedios in the future. Through The Annular has been selling well , not many copies...
